Deep Wealth of Scotland: Exhibit & Conference

With the Center for the Force Majeure and ecological artist Newton Harrison, I worked on the Deep Wealth of the Nation exhibition, which was a political call to action and a work of art. In a series of visual proposals that explored the “commons” of the country - the forests, soil, water, air, and even the commons of mind.

The work recognized the commons as the true deep wealth of the nation and explored how the country could give back to these living systems. I led this unique initiative which attracted attention from policymakers in the Scottish Parliament and sparked several conferences that included regional decision-makers and local community activists.
