Atlas of distressed geographies
This is the beginning of a visual narrative and comprehensive research project that traces the edges of desertification around the world. It is also an exploration of alternative narratives. For example, it proposes ribbons of dry land adapted plants and great herds that can be moved across the landscape in new patterns, perhaps intertwined circles, promoting regeneration of topsoil. It is a dialogue between the dry lands and the desert in the making.
